Acer Aspire One 522

dihadirkan dengan AMD C50 APU inti ganda (unit prosesor dipercepat), yang memiliki tingkat clock 1 GHz dalam dua core. Pada saat yang sama, berisi Radeon HD 6250 unit grafis AMD. Chassis ini tidak berubah dibandingkan dengan lawan terdekatnya dengan prosesor Intel Atom N550. Bahkan warna hitam dari Acer Aspire One D255 telah dipertahankan.

Selain komponen baru, peralatan lainnya hampir tidak berubah dan data kunci hanya berbeda sedikit. Contoh akan menjadi display HD (tipe silau) dengan resolusi native 1280x720 piksel, keluar HDMI dan multi-in-1 cardreader, yang juga dapat mengatur format memori tambahan selain standar SD dan MMC. Hardisk 250GB, RAM 1 GB dan standar WLAN 802.11 b/g/n belum diubah dan sesuai dengan standar umum.

Netbook Acer Aspire One 522 merupakan netbook pertama Acer yang menggunakan AMD Fusion C50 DualCore APU atau Accelerated Processing Unit. Mereka menawarkan tingkat clock 1GHz dan L2 cache 1 MB. Akibatnya, AMD sekarang dapat menawarkan alternatif masih mendominasi Intel Atom CPU. Fitur lainnya adalah AMD Radeon HD 6250, dimasukkan ke dalam unit prosesor, dengan tingkat inti 280MHz, DirectX 11, Shader 5.0 dan decoder video UVD3 menganjurkan kemajuan teknis, tapi sekali lagi, kurangnya memori khusus membatasi bidang aplikasi (game). Untuk berat, notebook ini hanya mempunyai berat di bawah 1.2kg dengan charger yang simple seperti charger sebuah smartphone. Sedangkan untuk casing, Acer Aspire V5 131 menggunakan finishing glossy dengan tiga pilihan warna yang menarik, merah, silver dan hitam.

Sepintas, notebook ini mempunyai spesifikasi yang cukup mumpuni untuk menjalankan aplikasi menengah dengan baik. Di dalam casing Acer Aspire V5 131 telah tertanam prosesor Intel Celeron 1007U dual core yang berjalan pada kecepatan 1.5 GHz dengan TDP hanya 17W sehingga prosesor ini masuk dalam kelas ultra low voltage dan ditunjang dengan memory DDR3 sebesar 2 GB. Untuk kapasitas penyimpanan data, Acer telah mempersiapkan ruangan hard disk sebesar 320 GB yang siap menyimpan berbagai data dan file multimedia Anda.

Untuk konektifitas, Acer Aspire V5 131  dilengkapi dengan Acer InviLink Nplify 802.11b/g/n  dan Bluetooth 4.0 yang dapat memberikan transfer data yang tinggi bila Anda ingin melakukan perpindahan data dari sebuah smartphone atau gadget lain.

Acer Aspire V5 131 menggunakan layar glossy berukuran 11.6″ dengan resolusi maksimal 1366 x 768. Penggunaan layar jenis ini akan sedikit mengganggu Anda saat digunakan karena akan menangkap bayangan di sekitar Anda. Namun, Anda dapat meminimalisasikannya dengan menaikkan tingkat brightness.
